This is a very sweet book for the festive period. I quite enjoyed it. My favourite stories were Midnights by Rainbow Rowell, The Lady and the Fox by Kelly Link, Polaris is Where You'll Find Me by Jenny Han, and The Girl Who Woke the Dreamer by Laini Taylor.
It is a little bit repetitive, and I sort of wish I had spent even longer reading it. This is a good book to read pieces of and maybe space out a little bit. But I didn't, and I think it's what made it feel so repetitive, which is hard to avoid anyway, seeing as they're all set in the same festive period and all about love.
I had quite high expectations for this book, and though I wasn't disappointed, I wasn't blown away either. As with a lot of short story collections, it's a bit of a hit and miss situation. Some stories just hit you right in the heart, while others don't even graze the skin.
I would definitely recommend this if you like romance novels, and it's perfect for this time of year.
