Review:
I quite enjoyed this book. I really loved the world this is set in and the magic is very interesting. I think the play on seasons is really cool too.

I really enjoy the main character, she's strong and a true warrior. I felt like the side-characters were really clear too, though in the beginning I had a hard time understanding who everyone was. For a while during the middle though, I thought this book wasn't going to be for me, but the ending redeemed that feeling.

I felt like this book laid a good foundation for a series. However, it felt a little predictable, and I didn't love the love triangle, as I often find these annoying. I hope it won't be a huge part of the continuation, as I am very excited to read the next book!

I would recommend this to people who enjoy fantasy and especially enjoy reading about a fantasy world. Very well suited for a young audience.
