Review:
Finally, FINALLY, I have read the very beloved Persuasion, and my expectations were sky high. Having not read Austen in a very long time and English being by second language, I found this a bit difficult to get into. I did, however, very much enjoy the theme and the characters.

This is a very character driven book, and there isn't all that much happening. I quite enjoyed that, as we really get to know Anne and the people around her. It did make it feel a little bit slow for me at times, but overall, it worked very well.

Once I get into it, I find Austen's style of writing very enjoyable. As mentioned, there were some parts I found hard to get through, but the ending definitely redeemed it. I get why everyone loves this book.

I would highly recommend this if you like classical romance with tons of interesting characters.
