Review:
This was a pretty quick read, though it took me a little time to get into. The story gives a pretty good taste of the younger generation of the twenties and thirties, which is one of my favorites periods in time to read about.

I have to admit, I was a little confused at first, especially with all the characters. But I sorted that out after a while, and I think perhaps that's the reason I felt a disconnect to most of them.

I really enjoyed the language and after a while, I did start caring about the people. However, it is slightly boring, this book. Not a lot happens, really. I didn't feel like it really did anything, it was just a glimpse into these peoples lives during a short period of time.

Overall, this was sort of average. The writing was good, and there were a lot of great sentences in this, but the story could've used some more work.
