Review:
This little book blew me away. What a wonderful story!

This was right up my alley; a fantastical mix of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and The Great Wizard of Oz, this creates a whimsical world of wonders. It's the sort of place where things don't make sense but still has a sort of truth to it either way.

I loved the adventure this takes us on, and the characters are all marvellous. Especially the side-characters took my breath away, these wonderfully magical and enticing personas. I also love the narrator and how we kind of get a feel for that person too.

But I think what made this book sneak its way into my heart was the writing. It's a mix of majestic and simple, and paints extraordinary pictures without being wordy.

This book is for children and for adults who understand that we never really grow up (it's just a myth). It's for lovers of sorcerous lands and travels lit by magical moons. I would recommend it with all my heart.
