Review:
It has taken be forever to finish this book, but it was surprisingly good.

As with most short story collections, there's always going to be some stories you enjoy more than others. I found quite a lot of those I enjoyed in this. There's a lot of stories in here, but they're all different and have something special about them.

I especially enjoyed the themes of race and culture. The setting is overall very vibrant, portraying the American South. The characters are mostly very interesting and is vividly brought to life in only a few pages.

I think this book is for people who enjoy short stories, and I would recommend taking your time reading it. It is a bit on the long side, but definitely worth the read.
