Review:
So, I don't really know about this one.

I think the story in here is somewhat interesting; it's a book filled with many adventures and we meet all kinds of people. The language is easy to understand and to read, and although the main character may not be particularly likeable, he has led an interesting life.

I was, sadly, put off by this quite early on when already on the fourth chapter, we'd had more than one pretty descriptive scene of abuse to animals and even though I understand this book is quite old, I just hate reading about that.

I do think the whole thing feels a little choppy and I felt after a while this just got a little bit boring, which is odd because there is a lot happening in here, but I just wasn't really that interested in it.

So overall, not all that great of a read for me.
