UPCOMING RELEASES:
JUNE

How is it June already? This past month has just flown by and it's once again time to take a look at some exciting books coming out in the next few weeks!

Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
30th
I mean, this cover is just to die for, I love it! This is a historical fiction novel with a bit of horror to it and it's set in glamorous 1950's Mexico and supposedly it involves an isolated mansion, a mysterious and charming aristocrat and a whole bunch of secrets... what more can you want!

The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett
2nd
This is a literary fiction novel about two twin sisters, once inseparable, who move on to live very, very different lives. It seems to be a really interesting book about race, family and American history and I really want to read it!

Paris Never Leaves You by Ellen Feldman
30th
This is a historical fiction novel about a woman working in a bookshop throughout WWII and trying to survive with her daughter. This is supposedly a story about resilience, love and impossible choices and I just thought it looked interesting!

Death in Her Hands by Ottessa Moshfegh
23rd
I'm including this one here because this is an author I really want to try something from and I've heard great things about. This is a mystery thriller about someone who finds a dead body in the forest where she's walking her dog and with the body there is a mysterious note...

The Curator by M. W. Craven
4th
This is the third book in the Washington Poe series, which I only recently read the first book in and have just ordered the second. I'm excited to see there are more books coming out though! In this, the detective Washington Poe and his team are called in to investigate the case of a serial killer that is leaving body parts all over the Lake District. Sounds intriguing!
