Review:
I really, really enjoyed this book.

I've always been interested and fascinating by Greek mythology, and I love a good retelling; this is one of those. I loved getting to know Circe and seeing her grow. We get all the drama of gods and man, but enough space to actually get to know the characters as well and I loved that. There's also a strong feminist undertone to this story that I can't help but appreciate.

The book is accessible and easy to read, but also well written. The author is fantastic at creating atmosphere and emotion. It's slow burning, but I really liked that. I've seen some reviews expressing that they felt this was too long, but I didn't feel that at all.

You don't to know a lot about Greek mythology to read this book, so anyone could read it and I highly recommend that you do. It's a wonderful story to get immersed and lost in.
