This book was sent to me by the publisher.

This is a collection of artwork featuring the figure of Anubis by artist Joanna Karpowicz.

What an interesting little book!

I absolutely love the artwork in this; I love the use of color, I love the atmosphere and I love how it feels like you get to go on a little journey with Anubis. I would've loved to see these pieces in a museum or a gallery, in much bigger format, as I'm sure I could've started at them all for hours.

Does this work as a book though? I'm not sure. I don't really know what I expected; I thought perhaps the artwork would showcase more of a story, but it doesn't really. It really just feels like a collection of artwork, and if that is what it's supposed to be, I think it could've benefited from being printed in a larger size.

I'm really glad I took a look at this, because I'm really intrigued by the artwork and the artist, but I'm not sure what else it was supposed to achieve exactly.
