Review:
I've been meaning to read this for years and I'm glad I finally did! I definitely enjoyed Treasure Island and found it entertaining, although I'm sure I would've loved it even more if I had read it when I was younger.

What I found most fun about this story was not only following along on this adventure, but seeing where so many of our references to pirates come from. The story does start off a little slow, but there's a lot of action in here is well, especially towards the end, which was fun.

That being said, this wasn't much more than an entertaining read for me; I'm glad I read it, but it's not a new favorite. I also much prefer the story of Treasure Island to The Ebb-Tide which I ended up mostly skimming.
