UPCOMING RELEASES:
JANUARY

It's a brand new year and we've got an exciting bunch of books to look forward to! First up, we'll take a look at some books coming out in the next few weeks.

Bride of the Sea by Eman Quotah

26th
This is a literary fiction novel told across four decades and two continents, and tells the story of a woman being torn between two lives and two worlds. It's a spellbinding debut about colliding cultures, immigration, religion and family, which sounds fascinating!

The Wife Upstairs by Rachel Hawkins

5th
This is a mystery thriller and it's apparently a domestic suspense novel filled with Southern charm, and honestly, that's kind of all I need to know. It's about a woman with a mysterious past who marries a man whose wife was lost at sea years ago. Sounds very intriguing if you ask me!

The Divines by Ellie Eaton

19th
This has been lightly compared to Normal People, which might be a dangerous comparison but is either way meant as high praise. It's a contemporary literary fiction novel about a woman who once again finds herself at this elite girls school she used to go to but she hasn't spoken to any of her classmates since she left in disgrace over 15 years ago.

Sweet Water by Cara Reinard

1st
This is a mystery thriller about a woman who has gotten everything she dreamed of in life; she's married to her childhood sweetheart, she's living in a mansion in an affluent neighbourhood and her teenage son is filled to the brim with promise. The idyll shatters though when once day, her and her husband are called into the woods nearby and finds their dazed son next to the dead body of his girlfriend.

Bloodline by Jess Lourey

1st
This was brought to my attention when I saw a raving review of it on Instagram recently. It's a horror thriller inspired by real events and it tells the story of a couple who settle down in a small village but soon finds her neighbours friendliness bordering on intrusive and she can't quite shake the feeling that she's being watched...
