Review:
I so very much enjoyed reading this book and it might be one of the more enjoyable books I read in all of 2019. I felt really engrossed into the story and it was magical to read.

I loved following our main character in this book and seeing the village and the forest through her eyes, and I generally found all of the characters to be interesting. I love all of the folklore and fairytale aspects of the story, as well as the magical realism.

It's a wonderfully written book and I really like the atmosphere it creates and how nature and the seasons is captured. The only negative thought I'm left with after reading this is that I think the pacing is a little off sometimes and there are some really slow parts, but otherwise, it was great!

I thought this was a really charming book, perfect to pick up in wintertime and just get lost in. Very well worth the read!
