Review:
This is a book I've had on my shelves for a while and I'm glad I finally got to it, even if I didn't enjoy it as much as I'd hoped.

There are some things I do like about this; I think the characters in these stories felt interesting, sometimes they're unlikable, but there is something compelling about them. The stories look at everyday life for these people and it doesn't overly explain things; a lot is left to the imagination, which I quite like.

I did, however, find most of the stories in here fine when I read them but forgettable when I'd finished them; there's only one that stood out to me among the six. Although I like stories that explore the ordinary, I felt like there was a lack of that little something that actually makes those stories something special and worth reading about.

Then there's the art style, which there's nothing wrong with, but that isn't something I generally like. I've seen a lot of other reviews praising the art, so I'm guessing I'm in the minority by not really liking it all that much. I think that's just personal preference though.

A little disappointing overall, not going to lie. I'd probably not pick up anything else by this author either.
