UPCOMING RELEASES:
NOVEMBER

We've made it to November and here are some books being released in the next few weeks!

In the Dream House by Carmen Maria Machado
5th
This cover drew me in the moment I saw it! This is a memoir where the author tackles the dark and difficult subject of being in a same-sex abusive relationship. This has gotten rave reviews already, so I really need to get my hands on a copy!

The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern
6th
I'm one of what feels like the few people who haven't yet read The Night Circus, but it's been highly praised and is still on my never-ending list of books to read. I'm also adding this book to that list because it sounds great; it's a fantasy novel that starts off with a student finding this mysterious book that contains the story of his childhood and to discover how and why, he uncovers a series of clues that lead him... to an ancient library far below the surface of the earth. Everything about that sounds amazing.

The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell
5th
This is a mystery thriller about an orphan who is suddenly given an inheritance which includes a townhouse in London and as she tries to uncover the truth of her birth parents, dark secrets come to light.

The Revisioners by Margaret Wilkerson Sexton
5th
This is a historical fiction novel set in 1925 and follows a woman who as a child, freed herself from slavery and who is now the proud owner of a farm and becomes friends with her neighbour, who has ties to the Ku Klux Klan. The story explores women's relationships and the bonds between mothers and daughters, which sounds fantastic!

The Innocents by Michael Crummey
12th
This is a literary historical fiction novel about an orphaned brother and sister who live in an isolated cover and who have no contact with the outside world. Sounds like a fascinating story!
