Review:
I really enjoyed this book, it was a really engrossing, fun and fascinating read.

There's something really compelling about this story that kept me wanting to keep going and I really love how this book delves deep into themes of sexuality, love, being a woman of a certain era and the complexity of humans and their relationships. I really enjoyed the characters in here, especially Evelyn; there's something so complex and fascinating about her and you just want to know who she really is. She feels like a real person.

That being said, I don't think I fell so completely in love with this book as I know many others have, because I do think at times it's a little melodramatic. I'm also a little disappointed with the other main character, the writer, because I kind of felt like we didn't really get to know her all that well.

Overall, this is an incredibly readable story about an incredibly fascinating character with important and interesting themes throughout and it's well worth the read.
