At the Nakano Thrift shop, every object and oddity has a story, as does everyone in the shop, at least that's what it feels like to Hitomi who works in the shop.

Review:
This was a sweet and slightly weird book.

There are some things I really like about this and some I don't. I loved the setting of the thrift shop and the way the chapters in the book focus on different objects. I quite enjoyed our set of characters as well, especially the main character and the shop owner.

That being said, this is the kind of book where not a whole lot happens in it and what does happen, does so very quietly. Usually I don't mind those kinds of stories, but in this one, I'm not sure the setting or the characters are strong enough to really carry it off. When I started this I was really into it, but it does get very repetitive towards the end.

Overall, worth the read if you like quiet, slice-of-life stories.
