April and spring is here, and today I want to show you some books that are coming out this month!
The Binding by Bridget Collins

This is a historical fiction fantasy book set in a world where you can bind away a memory in a book, and a young man is called to learn to art of bookbinding. I love anything to do with books, so I'm obviously intrigued!
Miracle Creek by Angie Kim

This is a mystery thriller about a Korean immigrant family and the courtroom drama of a young mother having been accused of murdering her eight year old autistic son.
Women Talking by Miriam Toews

This is a contemporary literary fiction novel set in some sort of colony where the women are ravaged at night, supposedly by demons, and the women gather to try and figure out what they can do about the situation. I've read that this is based on true events, which makes me very interested to read it!
The Affairs of the Falcóns by Melissa Rivero

In this contemporary fiction novel, two people flee the economic and political strife of Peru and settle down in New York City, trying to get by as undocumented immigrants.
Sabrina and Corina

This is a short story collection about friendship, mothers and daughters and the deep-rooted truths of our homelands, and I'm pretty sure it delves into Latina indigenous ancestry and the land these people inhabit. That sounds fascinating and also, how gorgeous is this cover?
