Review:
What a little gem this book is. I'd never even heard of this before I decided to pick it up and I'm so glad I did.

I love stories like these, where you get to see the same situation from several different viewpoints and each one reveals something new about it. It's a strange book in a lot of ways, but it has surprising depth for such a short story; you can clearly see all these emotions of these characters bubbling beneath the surface. Although it's a story of love, it's also one of betrayal and death.

I also very much enjoyed the writing. It's not overly complicated, but beautiful in its simplicity. There's also an intimacy to it, most likely because it's written in letter form, that I really liked.

It's not necessarily a unique story, but it was a delight to read either way.
