Review:
I'm a pretty huge fan of the Hyperbole and a Half blog already, so it's no surprise that I really enjoyed this. The stories in this collection are both funny, weird and dark. I think everyone can relate to something in this, especially because the author is so good at capturing the absurdity of some of the situations we humans find ourselves in.

The art in this is simplistic but extremely effective. It captures emotions in such an impressive and compelling way. The writing itself is very good and there's a good balance between writing and artwork. There are quite a few new stories in this that I hadn't read before, but some of the were familiar from being a long time reader of the blog, which is perfectly fine, but it does mean this didn't quite blow me away.

I feel like you know if this is for you or not, but if you're unsure, you can always head to the Hyperbole and a Half blog to see if it's for you. If you like the blog, you'll like the book.
