UPCOMING RELEASES:
OCTOBER

It's October, yay! Here are five books being releases this month that I think look interesting.

27th

This is a fiction novel with a lovely cover and it's about three young boys and how a tragedy changes them forever.

4th

This is a nonfiction book I have been looking forward to for quite some time. The book looks at a particular day in America, where ten people young people were shot to death in America. It discusses gun violence in American society, which I think is fascinating.

4th

This is a historical fiction novel about a man who travels through Texas in the wake of the civil war, bringing news of the world. I've heard some good things about this and am definitely intrigued.

18th

The thing that made me intrigued about this is that it's written by one of Turkey's leading underground writers. I'm always looking for new translated books to read, and this novel is about human trafficking and deals with the refugee crisis.

18th

This is about how house cats tamed us and took over the world. I've always felt cats are actually plotting for world domination, so this is bound to be good...

What books are you excited for this month?

  1. That first cover is so nice! October is apparently the number one month for publishing books (so they can sell in time for christmas!) and there are so many exciting releases! I'm excited about Margaret Atwood's 'Hag-Seed' and Lauren Oliver's 'Replica'. :)
