BOOKISH REFLECTIONS:
READING IN SEPTEMBER

I really enjoy seeing what other people are reading, how much the read and the progress along the way, so in the past month of September, I've kept track, day to day, of what I've read and how much, because I thought it might be interesting. I haven't made any more effort than I usually would, it's just how I generally read.

Thursday 01.09
So, I am currently reading four book, of which I read nothing in today. It was one of those rare days where I was a bit social after work, visiting a friend for dinner, so suddenly the day was poof! gone.

Friday 02.09
Read one chapter of The Secret Life of Bees in my lunch break (21 pages). Spent the evening watching Grand Designs, resulting in my going down a (wonderful) spiral of looking at architecture books online until I suddenly realised I had work in the morning, so I quickly went to bed.

A few hours after work, I read the first part of Sappho's poetry collection (25 pages), which was absolutely lovely by the way.
