Review:
I haven't read a lot of comic books in my time, except Spider Man, so I am not all that familiar with the storyline of the Avengers and their universe. However, I'd heard this was a good place to start.

I think this was a good introduction to the characters and the story, and it works well as a first volume. I felt like we good a good sense of both the main character and her backstory, as well as the adventures she has with her new powers. It's fast paced and entertaining. I do think I missed out on a few things, not having that much knowledge of the universe, which is a little bit of a shame.

I also love how the main character is of Pakistani descent and a Muslim, and how this affects her as a person. I loved seeing her family and where she comes from, and how she struggles to get the two worlds to coexist.

This is, obviously, not that long, but works as setting up the story for later volumes, even if it isn't perfect I can't wait to read them.
