Review:
There are some things which you can almost always expect from Fitzgerald; a young, posh protagonist, lushios places, glamour and galore... and this does have that, but it also has a darkness to it that I found a bit surprising.

This is a sort of dark fairytale of sorts, one I found wholly entertaining. It is a bit ridiculous in points, but overall, it was very enjoyable. It does have a lot of slaves in it, which is quite disturbing, and character development is perhaps not at its best.

Overall though, I must say I quite liked this. I would recommend it if you want to try some Fitzgerald, or if you already like his style of writing.
