Title: The Mirabelles
Author: Annie Freud
Published: 2010
Language: English
Pages: 64
Rating: 2/5
Summary:
A poetry collection about reality and its representations, and the truth and lies we tell ourselves.
Review:
Though there were a few poems in this that I enjoyed, this poetry collection wasn't really for me.
This is the kind of modern poetry that I don't enjoy, mostly because I constantly feel like there are missing pieces, that there's something I should've known beforehand to truly understand the poems meaning. This isn't the kind of poetry you find your own meaning in, at least not to me.
I think this is for people who read a lot of poetry, and perhaps have a deeper and keener understanding of it. For me, this was just ok. Not my cup of tea.
