Every ninety years, twelve gods incarnate at humans. They are loved and adored by the people, but in two years they'll all be dead. Fangirl Laura finds herself in the middle of all of this, trying to help one of them when they're thrown in jail.

The artwork in this graphic novel is absolutely stunning. The colours are vibrant and the characters are portrayed wonderfully.

I had to read this twice to grasp the meaning of this though, as the first time I read it I was a little confused about all the characters and what was really going on. There are some plot holes in the story, but I'm assuming they'll be explained in future volumes.

I especially enjoyed the main character Laura and I can't wait to see what happens to her next. I wished we'd had a little more time on her introduction, but I felt connected to her anyway.

I wish I could just keep reading this story, and that there were more volumes out there already.

I would recommend this if you enjoy fast-paced graphic novels.
