On My Shelf IV

It's Sunday and time for another On My Shelf! This is the fourth one I've done. You can check out the others here.

Shelf 2, Book 2

One of my Penguin English Library books, and I absolutely love the covers of these books. I haven't read this one yet.

Shelf 3, Book 3

A part of my 007 collection! I've only read a few of these, and haven't gotten to this one yet. I really like the covers though, and the spines are all red and look really good together.

Shelf 4, Book 4

One of my favourite mystery crime novels. I also quite like this cover, and I just hope they continue with these covers for the whole series, because they'll look great together.

Shelf 5, Book 5

Such a sweet little book! Read and enjoyed several times.

Shelf 6, Book 6

A really fast-paced thriller that I thoroughly enjoyed. Also a cover I very much like.

  1. All your covers are so beautiful!
I never read any James Bond or watched the movies. Can you recommend the books?

3-13: The Child Thief by Brom
1-16: The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov
5-7: Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie
4-8: The Complete Maus by Art Spiegelman
7-1: The Nazi and the Barber by Edgar Hilsenrath

    1. Oooh, I've heard about The Master and Margarita, have you read it? Is it good?

I would definitely recommend James Bond, though I must admit I've only read Casino Royale. But I can highly recommend the movies (I love Casino Royale and Skyfall, they're pretty damn great)!

    2. Yes, I read The Master and Margarita a couple of months ago. I've mixed feelings about it because I really enjoyed reading the first part and got a lot out of it, but the second part was a bit disappointing for me. Mostly due to the fact that I couldn't connect with Margarita, who was the main character in that part. But I would still recommend the book.

OK than I'll give both a try :)
