This is the third and final novel in the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy. You can read my review of the first on here, and the second one here. As this is the third book in a series, this review will contain spoilers.

Summary:
The Angels have reached the Human World, and are ready to be worshipped. The apocalypse is near.

Through deception and secrecy, Karou has taken control of the chimeara rebellion, and is trying to merge both her own people and some of the seraphim for their shared cause; to stop Jael from gaining the human worlds affection - and weapons.

But it's not the only threat looming; there are bigger powers at works...

Review:
I thought this was a wonderful and satisfying conclusion to this series. As always, Taylor's writing is lyrical and lovely.

The love story is painful and wonderful, and I was really rooting for Karou and Akiva, poor souls. I also just love all the characters, and in the series, you really get to know them. I also really, really enjoyed reading about Razgut, the creepy, fallen angel with all his mysteries.

The story was exciting and there were many unexpected twists and turns, and I really thought the ending was fitting.

I wholeheartedly recommend this series to everyone who likes fantasy.
