Review:
I have really mixed feelings about this book, because I cannot tell if I just wasn't in the mood or if it just wasn't for me. It took me such a long time to get into the story, and for some reason it felt so slow at first. I felt like there was all this talk about airplanes and I was just... completely unfascinated.

I've let my thoughts brew for a little while, and I've decided to rate this 4 stars, despite the fact that I think it wasn't for me. It is very good, I know it is, I just was not into it when I read it. I did enjoy the second half of the book though, and I felt like the ending was just good enough so that it tipped the scale for me.

Now, the thing is, I think a lot of people will really like this book, now that I've mulled it over. I just had so high expectations, thinking this was going to be a new favorite and I was just so disappointed. I just didn't care all that much about a lot of the characters, and I was missing some descriptions in a lot of the settings.

However, I would recommend this, though only if you're in the mood for historical fiction set in World War II and like to read about airplanes. A lot.
