Review:
This book was fantastic. I absolutely loved it.

The characters in this book are all really clear. Evie is a very interesting character from the start, she's modern and sassy, and the perfect protagonist. At the same time, you get to read from different side characters perspectives and it's really interesting how it all comes together in the end.

The setting of this story really had me transported. I felt like I was really in the vibrant setting of 1920's New York, and I think it's one of the best parts about this book.

While this book is unsettling, mysterious and a little scary at times, it has a bit of humor in it to even things out. It was a very exciting read. I really enjoyed the writing style, and I could not put this damn book down. I also like how while you get the answer to a lot of the questions that you have about characters and incidents, the author also leaves you with just enough mystery that you want to read the next one.

I think for some, this book might feel a little long, but personally I enjoyed every page.

Definitely one of the best books I've read this year, and I would highly recommend this to everyone.

PS: Just had to show you what this book looks like without the dust cover:

Goregous! This style also goes through the entire book on the beginning of every chapter. I love it when publishers do this. Kudos!
