This is the third book in the Heroes of Olympus series, so this review will contain some spoilers. If you want to, you can read my review of the first one The Lost Hero or the second The Son of Neptune.

Summary:
The heroes from the greek Camp Half-Blood is arriving at the roman camp. Never before have the two camps been able to work together, but for our heroes to complete their quest they have to get over their differences.

Meanwhile, the gods are loosing their minds, Gaea is threatening to fully wake, and most importantly, the Doors of Death are open. Now they have to travel to the dangerous ancient lands to restore everything to the way its supposed to be.

Review:
Ah, things are getting really exciting. I absolutely love that the team has finally gotten together, and now everything is starting for real. I really enjoyed reading the different characters perspectives, and the dynamic of the group is quite realistic.

I got a little bit confused about the Roman and Greek gods sometimes, so the list in the back came in handy. I did really like how the gods are descending into madness by being drawn between their different sides.

Overall, this was another great story by Rick Riordan, and damn, that ending. I just sat there, staring, thinking: really? REALLY? Thank Zeus/Jupiter that I already have the next one, because I can not wait.

If you're into this series, you're going to enjoy this one. Otherwise, if you like adventure books with a taste of Greek/Roman mythology, you should start reading this.
